Events Worked: Team Roping , header,  Calf rope a little not very much 

 

Association member of:  PRCA,  NPRA, ICA.  GCPRA. 

 

Rodeo Accomplishments: Won second at Fort Worth,  Won Casa grande the week later, that’s really about it this year, won some at San Antonio. 

Over the years:  Spanish Fork Utah, back in 2010    Won the INFR in 2009.   Won the team roping with Preston at the INFR.  

 


When did you start an interest in rodeo?   Since I was a little kid, my Dad was a bull dogger, made me wear cowboy hat and boots since I was a kid.  

 


What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy?    I don’t watch a whole lot of tv to be honest with you.  

 

 

 

What is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo?   Me getting bucked off at a rodeo in Pocatelo in 2011.   While I was roping on a borrowed horse, not suppose to wear spurs on him and I didn’t know that.  Drove all night from Loganville NV and barely made it. 

 

 

 


What advice would you give to Indian youth about rodeo or anything in general?  Work hard at what you want to do. 

 

 

 

What advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted to participate in rodeo but didn’t have the resources or support to get involved?

 

 

 

Are their any songs that inspire or pump you up before you ride or rope?  No not really. 

 


What would you like to see more of at Indian Rodeos?

 

 

 

What are/is your favorite western movie(s)?   Cowboy Way,  8 Seconds. 

 

 

 

What is your favorite music?  Country Music

What was your most memorable ride or run?  I think when I started headed in 2007, for Preston, I started heading for him that year.  It just picked up and winning, I was more in control.  

 

 

 

Who is your all time hero? Jake Barnes Clay O brien Cooper   He is Columbia River and so am I. 

 

 

 


What Indian Cowboy or Cowgirl has influenced you to rodeo?  Preston Williams, grew up watching him most of my life, he’s been good to me and helped me get my life more focused.
